To ask the Scottish Executive how many jobs will be lost in Glasgow through the restructuring of Scottish Enterprise.
Answer
Staffing levelswithin Scottish Enterprise offices is an operational matter for theorganisation. However, as the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and SustainableGrowth announced, there will be no compulsory redundancies as a consequence of the reform proposals.

To ask the Scottish Executive what meetings have been held with the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland to discuss the staffing and resource implications of the implementation of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
Answer
The Scottish Executiveattends the ACPOS Licensing Sub-Group which discusses a range of matters about implementationof the act. Meetings took place on 9 August 2006, 29 September 2006, 10 November 2006, 5 February 2007, 2 May 2007, and 10 October 2007. In addition,ACPOS met the Deputy Minister for Public Service Reform in the last administrationon 16 January 2007 and me on 22 August 2007 to discuss implementation of the act.

The Scottish Executivewill continue to discuss implementation of the act through the ACPOS Licensing Sub-Group.No date has yet been set by ACPOS for the next meeting. Discussions are also underwaywith the ACPOS Finance Management Business Area.

To ask the Scottish Executive what meetings have been held with Glasgow City Council to discuss the future of the Cities Growth Fund.
Answer
The CabinetSecretary for Health and Wellbeing and I have discussed the Cities Growth Fund,amongst other things, with Glasgow City Council in meetings on 2 Octoberand 22 August respectively. Officials from councils in receipt of Cities GrowthFund and the Scottish Government meet periodically to discuss issues around thefund, most recently on 21 August 2007.

Answer
Decisions on thefuture of the Cities Growth Fund are being considered in the spending review. Itwould not be appropriate for me to comment in advance of the outcome of that review.
