To ask the Scottish Government what steps it is taking to support the introduction of a Glasgow Airport rail link.
Answer
The Scottish Government remains committed to working with our partners to find solutions to improve surface access to Glasgow Airport. In doing so we must recognise, as stated on a number of occasions, there are significant challenges to the delivery of any rail link to Glasgow Airport.
Transport Scotland and Network Rail are continuing to work collaboratively with the Glasgow Airport Access Project team as they reconsider the evidence base and transport appraisal work to address comments raised in an independent audit of the Outline Business Case.
In January I will Chair the next meeting of the Glasgow Airport Access Executive Steering Group which includes the Leaders of both Glasgow City and Renfrewshire Councils.

To ask the Scottish Government how many cases have been raised to date by survivors of child sex abuse under the Limitation (Childhood Abuse) (Scotland) Act 2017; what its response is to the level of response; how this compares to its estimated figure, and what plans it has to review its overall estimate.
Answer
The information requested is not held centrally. Figures quoted in a recent newspaper article, indicating a year-on-year increase in the number of survivors of childhood abuse looking to raise civil proceedings, were based on the experience of one solicitor firm only. The aim of the legislation is to remove barriers to the raising of actions by survivors, but decisions on whether to raise proceedings are a matter for each individual. We undertook during the scrutiny of the legislation to have an ongoing dialogue with COSLA and others about the impact of the legislation and we remain committed to that. The legislation has, however, only been in force for a year.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it has held recent discussions with the SFA regarding the redevelopment of Hampden Park, and what the outcome was.
Answer
I last met the Scottish FA on 19 September 2018 and agreed that the Scottish Government will continue to work closely with the Scottish FA and other partners to consider how Hampden can be a 21 st century stadium we can all be proud of. As explained in S5W-18844 on 25 September 2018, no costed or developed proposal for the redevelopment of the stadium has been received.
