Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of the COVID-19 Strategic Framework, when action will be taken to protect businesses in the hospitality sector that have not been instructed to fully close, including pubs in the Highlands and Islands that do not sell food and/or are not required to close until 10 pm, but have had to close because of lack of viability, so that they receive the same financial support as those that are required not to trade.
