To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is in possession of a copy of the Department of Trade and Industry's report of its investigation into the closure of the Viasystems plant in the Scottish Borders and, if so, whether it will make a copy of this report available.
Answer
This is a matter for the Department of Trade and Industry. DTI assures us that they have been monitoring the grant award position at Viasystems, that they will continue to do so and that there has been no breach of the grant conditions.
