No, it was not. The CCC said that land that should not be kept in full-time pasture was no longer sequestering carbon and that it should go into trees. I have never heard that before.

I have a supplementary question on divergence. Does the ARIOB have a role in discussing divergence from EU alignment in relation to the replacement for the CAP? I am thinking particularly about benefits to the environment and health. Martin Kennedy mentioned gene editing, for example. Does the group discuss such issues?
