Meeting of the Parliament

First Minister’s Question Time

Meeting date: 8 December 2022

Natalie Don-Innes

Recent analysis from Citizens Advice Scotland found that half of Scots are being forced to cut back on household spending. The main levers to address that crisis reside in Westminster, which is an institution that cannot be trusted to concern itself with the plight of ordinary people. Meeting of the Parliament

Portfolio Question Time

Meeting date: 7 December 2022

Natalie Don-Innes

Now that it is clear that Scotland is not, and might never have been, an equal partner in this so-called voluntary union of nations, it is more important than ever that Scotland has a choice over its place in the UK constitution. Does the cabinet secretary believe, as I do, that that underwhelming scheme falls very far short of the fairer, greener future that we could grasp with independence and restored European Union citizenship?

Meeting of the Parliament

Portfolio Question Time

Meeting date: 7 December 2022

Natalie Don-Innes

To ask the Scottish Government what its position is on whether the current devolution settlement has led to a position in which Scotland is considered an equal partner. (S6O-01648)

Meeting of the Parliament

Portfolio Question Time

Meeting date: 1 December 2022

I ask the Scottish Government to provide an update on the pilot by two Glasgow-based housing associations that uses internet of things technology to measure dampness in their properties. The pilot is being delivered by the technology firm North, which has a base in my Renfrewshire North and West constituency and is being backed by £3 million of enterprise funding from the Scottish Government. If it is successful, it could be rolled out to other social housing providers.
