The next item of business is consideration of business motion S56M-15808, in the name of Jamie Hepburn, on behalf of the Parliamentary Bureau, setting out a business programme. I call Jamie Hepburn to move the motion.
17:09
In moving the motion, I draw members’ attention to what is presently scheduled for Thursday 9 January. The motion says that we plan to hold the stage 1 debate on the Disability Commissioner (Scotland) Bill on that date, but I have spoken to Jeremy Balfour—the bill is in his name—and he has expressed a preference for another date. I will seek to resolve that in due course. I flag that for the Parliament's attention and to let Mr Balfour know that the matter is in hand.
I move,
That the Parliament agrees—
