National Public Bodies Directory
Item 3 on the agenda is the national public bodies directory. We must consider and agree a response to a letter that we have received from the Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Employment and Sustainable Growth on the removal of the SCPA from the national public bodies directory. A copy of the letter is attached to a paper from the commission’s secretary, along with a suggested response. I invite comments from members on the suggested response.
Given that our predecessor commission approached the cabinet secretary with the suggestion in question, John Swinney’s response seems to be fair enough, and I am happy to go with the recommendation.
