The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private.
2. Future Parliamentary Procedures and Practices Evidence session:
The Committee heard evidence from—
Rt Hon. Karen Bradley, MP and Chair of the Procedure Committee, House of Commons;
Lord Gardiner of Kimble, Senior Deputy Speaker, House of Lords;
and then from—
Denis Naughten, TD, member of Dáil Éireann, Dáil Éireann, the Houses of the Oireachtas;
Gerit Vermeylen, Director of Legislative Service, The Flemish Parliament.
3. Future Parliamentary Procedures and Practices Evidence session:
The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2
4. Lobbying Act Impact Assessment:
The Committee agreed to commission a Lobbying Act Impact Assessment.
