1. Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.
2. Domestic Violence and Violence against women and girls:
The Committee took evidence from—
Dr Marsha Scott, Chief Executive Officer, Scottish Women's Aid;
Eilidh Dickson, Policy and Parliamentary Manager, Engender;
Davy Thompson, Campaign Director, White Ribbon Scotland;
Laura Tomson, Co-Director, Zero Tolerance;
and then from—
Carolyn Fox McKay , Head of Operations, Girlguiding Scotland ;
Mariam Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, Amina - the Muslim Women's Resource Centre;
Tumay Forster, Outreach Service Team Leader, Shakti Women's Aid.
3. Domestic Violence and Violence against women and girls: (in private)
The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting and agreed to write to the Scottish Government and Hon. Lady Poole QC, Chair of the public inquiry into the handling of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland.
