The Committee took evidence from—

Andrew Latto, Deputy Director, Devolution, Pensioner Benefits and Carers Allowance Policy and Margarita Morrison, Area Director Work and Health Services Scotland, Department for Work and Pensions.

4. DWP role in devolved Social Security (in private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting and agreed to write to the UK and Scottish Governments.

5. Work programme (in private):

The Committee considered and agreed its work programme. The Committee agreed to have an informal briefing from the Scottish Government on their proposals on the Scottish Carer's Assistance.
