The Committee considered the following negative instrument—

The Committee agreed to not make any recommendations to the Parliament on this instrument. The Committee also agreed that the issues relating to the instrument should inform future work.
The Committee considered a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the Ivory Act 2018 in relation to the following UK statutory instrument—
Ivory Prohibitions (Civil Sanctions) Regulations 2022.
The Committee agreed that the provisions set out in the notification should be included in the UK SI.
The Committee considered a draft Stage 1 report.
The Committee agreed (by division: For 5, Against 4, Abstentions 0) to postpone the evidence session scheduled for 16 March 2022 with the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to a future meeting.
