1. Subordinate legislation:

The Committee considered the following negative instrument—

Rural Support (Controls) (Coronavirus) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 (SSI 2022/107)

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instrument.

The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government with questions in relation to the instrument.


2. UK subordinate legislation:

The Committee considered a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 in relation to the following UK statutory instrument proposal—

Animal Welfare (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2022.

The Committee agreed that the provisions set out in the notifications should be included in the UK SI.

The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government with questions in relation to the instrument.


3. Good Food Nation (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee considered the Bill at Stage 2.
