The Committee considered the evidence heard at agenda items 2 and 5 and agreed to write to the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee and the Auditor General for Scotland.
The Committee considered the evidence heard at agenda items 3 and 4 and agreed to write to South Lanarkshire College. It also agreed to close its scrutiny of the 2020/21 audit of South Lanarkshire College.
The Committee considered its work programme and noted correspondence from the Director-General Economy dated 15 June 2023, from the Director-General Economy, in relation to the 2021/22 audit of Ferguson Marine Port Glasgow (Holdings) Limited.
The Committee also noted correspondence from the Chief Executive of NHS Scotland and Director-General for Health and Social Care, in relation to its scrutiny of the NHS in Scotland 2022 report and agreed to seek further information in writing.
The Committee agreed to invite the Minister for Transport to give oral evidence at a future meeting in relation to its scrutiny of New vessels for the Clyde and Hebrides: Arrangements to deliver vessels 801 and 802.
