The Committee took evidence on the section 23 report from—
Caroline Lamb, Chief Executive of NHS Scotland and Director-General for Health and Social Care and Richard McCallum, Director of Health Finance and Governance, Scottish Government;
John Burns, Chief Operating Officer, NHS Scotland.
The Committee considered the evidence heard at agenda item 2 and took further evidence from—
Stephen Boyle, Auditor General for Scotland;
Leigh Johnston, Senior Manager and Fiona Lees, Senior Auditor, Audit Scotland.
The Committee considered the evidence heard at agenda items 2 and 3 and agreed to await further written information from the Scottish Government before deciding its next steps.
The Committee considered its work programme and agreed its approach to the scrutiny of the forthcoming Major Capital Projects update.
