On 28 October 2021, the Auditor General for Scotland and the Accounts Commission published Community empowerment: Covid-19 update.
The reports says:
"Covid-19 has disproportionately affected Scotland’s most vulnerable citizens. During the pandemic, local people and communities across Scotland played a critical role in supporting the most vulnerable people in society."
