The Committee considered a draft letter to the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee.

The letter was agreed for publication.

4. Climate Change People's Panel:

The Committee took evidence on the report of the Scottish Parliament People’s Panel reviewing the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 from—

Scott Cruickshank, Participant, Louise Franklin, Participant, Elil Jeyakumar, Participant, Kevin Roarty, Participant, Karen Shakespeare, Participant and David Harrold, Participant, People's Panel.

5. Climate Change People's Panel (in private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 4.

The Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Net Zero and Energy to invite her to provide a response to the Panel's recommendations.
