The Committee considered the following negative instrument—
Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021
The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instrument.
The Committee also agreed to write to the Scottish Government to request further information on the implementation dates chosen in relation to the instrument, and the rationale for choosing those dates.
The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.
The committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government to draw their attention to the submission the Committee had received from Inclusion Scotland.
The Committee considered its work programme.
The Committee agreed a work programme to February 2022. The Committee discussed and agreed initial witnesses for its inquiry into the role of local government and its cross-sectoral partners in financing and delivering a net-zero Scotland. Jackie Dunbar MSP declared an interest as a Councillor for Aberdeen City Council.
