The Committee chose Dean Lockhart as its Convener.
The Committee chose Fiona Hyslop as its Deputy Convener.
The Committee agreed to take item 6 in private.
The Committee considered relevant parts of the legacy reports of three session 5 committees.
The Committee considered its approach to developing its work programme. The Committee agreed to invite the Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Energy and Transport to give evidence about Scottish Government priorities on matters within his remit at a future meeting. The Committee also agreed to invite the UK Government to give evidence on its Presidency of the forthcoming 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference. The Committee also agreed to hold a business planning day to further discuss the development of its work programme.
