1. Decisions on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take items 3, 4 and 5 in private.
2. National Planning Framework 4 annual review:
The Committee took evidence from—
Ivan McKee, Minister for Public Finance, Fiona Simpson, Chief Planner, Director of Planning, Architecture and Regeneration and Andy Kinnaird, Head of Transforming Planning, Planning, Architecture and Regeneration Division, Scottish Government.
3. National Planning Framework 4 annual review (in private):
The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting.
4. Annual report (in private):
The Committee agreed its annual report for the parliamentary year from 13 May 2023 to 12 May 2024.
5. Work programme (in private):
The Committee considered its work programme and agreed: to write to the Minister for Housing on the housing emergency; its programme of oral evidence on the Housing (Scotland) Bill; and to write to the Scottish Government on the two cases studies on energy efficiency contained in the second of the EU law tracker reports commissioned by the Constitution, Europe, External Affairs and Culture Committee.
