The Committee took evidence from—

Michael Matheson, Cabinet Secretary for NHS Recovery, Health and Social Care, John Burns, Chief Operating Officer, NHS Scotland, Richard McCallum, Director of Health Finance and Governance and Stephen Lea-Ross, Deputy Director Health Workforce, Scottish Government.

Emma Harper declared an interest as a former employee of NHS Dumfries and Galloway and a registered nurse.

Sandesh Gulhane declared an interest as a practising GP.

Clare Haughey declared an interest as a registered mental health nurse.
