2. Suicide Prevention in Scotland:
The Committee took evidence from—
Maree Todd, Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport, Morag Williamson, Head of Suicide Prevention and Distress Intervention and Dr Alastair Cook, Principal Medical Officer, Scottish Government;
Haylis Smith, National Delivery Lead for Suicide Prevention, on behalf of the Scottish Government and COSLA;
Councillor Paul Kelly, Spokesperson for Health and Social Care and Eddie Follan, Chief Officer, Health and Social Care, COSLA.
3. Suicide Prevention in Scotland (In Private):
The Committee considered the evidence it heard under agenda item 2.
4. Correspondence (In Private):
The Committee considered correspondence received from Shelter Scotland.
5. Annual report (In Private):
The Committee considered and agreed a draft annual report for the parliamentary year from 13 May 2023 to 12 May 2024.
