1. Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private.
2. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2022-23:
The Committee took evidence as part of its Pre-Budget Scrutiny from—
Dr Alison Hosie, Research Officer, Scottish Human Rights Commission;
Dr Angela O'Hagan, Chair, Scottish Government Equality Budget Advisory Group (EBAG);
Emma Congreve, Knowledge Exchange Fellow, Fraser of Allander Institute;
Chris Birt, Associate Director for Scotland, Joseph Rowntree Foundation;
and then from—
Adam Stachura, Head of Policy and Communications, Age Scotland;
Jatin Haria, Executive Director, CRER - Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights;
Eilidh Dickson, Policy and Parliamentary Manager, Engender;
Rob Gowans, Policy and Public Affairs Manager, Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE).
3. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2022-23:
The Committee considered the evidence it heard under agenda item 2.
4. Pre-Budget Scrutiny:
The Committee considered and agreed its approach to longer-term development work on pre-budget scrutiny.
