The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.
2. Children (Care and Justice) (Scotland) Bill:
The Committee heard evidence from:
Fiona McMullen, Operations Manager, ASSIST;
Dr Marsha Scott, Chief Executive Officer, Scottish Women's Aid;
Kate Wallace, Chief Executive Officer, Victim Support Scotland;
and then from—
Stephen Bermingham, Head of Practice and Policy, Children's Hearings Scotland;
Alistair Hogg, Head of Practice and Policy, Scottish Children's Reporter Administration (SCRA);
Jillian Gibson, Policy Manager, Children and Young People Team and Joanna Anderson,Policy Manager, Local Government and Finance Team, COSLA;
Ben Farrugia, Director, Social Work Scotland.
3. Pre-Budget Scrutiny (In Private):
The Committee considered and agreed a draft letter to the Cabinet Secretary.
