1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 3, 4 and 5 in private.

2. Petroineos Grangemouth:

The Committee took evidence from—

Graham Stuart MP, Minister of State (Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero), UK Government.

3. Petroineos Grangemouth (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard under agenda item 2 and agreed to write to the Scottish Government.

4. Trade (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (In Private):

The Committee considered its approach to scrutiny of the legislative consent memorandum lodged by Shona Robison, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Finance (LCM(S6) 39) and agreed to invite the Minister for Community Wealth and Public Finance.

5. Subordinate legislation (In Private):

The Committee considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Consumer Scotland Act 2020 (Relevant Public Authorities) Regulations 2024 and agreed to write to the Minister for Community Wealth and Public Finance.

6. Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee considered a revised draft Stage 1 report. Various changes were agreed to, and the report was agreed for publication.
