The Committee agreed to consider evidence received and next steps in private at a future meeting.

2. Just Transition for the Grangemouth area:

Michelle Thomson indicated that she is an ambassador of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking.

The Committee took evidence from—

Heather Buchanan, Co-founder, Bankers for Net Zero;

James Close, Head of Climate Change, NatWest Group;

Ben Howarth, Chief Sustainability Officer, Association of British Insurers.
