2. Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee took evidence from—

Siobhian Brown, Minister for Victims and Community Safety, Jamie Bowman, Legal Directorate and Michael Paparakis, Policy Manager, Private Law Unit, Scottish Government .

3. Instruments subject to negative procedure:

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

Packaging Waste (Data Reporting) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2023 (SSI 2023/160)

4. Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill (in private):

The Committee considered the delegated powers provisions in this Bill at Stage 1 and agreed to write to the Scottish Government.

5. Data Protection and Digital Information (No.2) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (in private):

The Committee considered the powers to make subordinate legislation within devolved competence in the Data Protection and Digital Information (No.2) Bill (UK Parliament legislation). The Committee agreed to write to the UK Government and the Scottish Government.

6. Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Bill (in private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.
