8 Legacy Paper: 

The Committee thanked the Members of the Session 5 Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee for its legacy paper and agreed to consider the paper as part of its work programme discussions at a future meeting. The Committee also agreed to write to the previous Convener, Bill Bowman, to thank him for his work. 


9 Work programme: 

The Committee agreed to delegate authority to the Committee’s legal advisers to ask questions of the Scottish Government and Lord President’s Private Office in relation to instruments; hold a business planning day during the summer recess; and invite the Minister for Parliamentary Business and the Chair of the Scottish Law Commission to give updates on their respective work at separate committee meetings in September.
