The Committee agreed to take item 7 in private.


2. Pre-Budget Scrutiny:

The Committee took evidence as part of its Pre-Budget Scrutiny from—

Keith Brown, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Veterans, Neil Rennick, Director of Justice and Donald McGillivray, Director of Safer Communities, Scottish Government.


3. Subordinate legislation:

The Committee took evidence on the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2022 [draft] from—

Keith Brown, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Veterans, Walter Drummond-Murray, Head of Civil Courts, Inquiries, Private & International Law and Emma Thomson, Legal Directorate, Scottish Government.


4. Subordinate legislation:

Keith Brown (Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Veterans) moved—

S6M-06291—That the Criminal Justice Committee recommends that the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2022 [draft] be approved.

 

The motion was agreed to.


5. National Care Service (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—
