1. Declaration of interests:
Maurice Golden declared that he had attended a trip to Nepal in the last session of Parliament, which was sponsored by Tear Fund, to look at human trafficking and tackling climate justice.
2. Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take item 5 and future consideration of evidence heard in private.
3. Climate Justice:
The Committee took evidence from—
Jamie Livingstone, Head of, Oxfam Scotland;
Carolyn Sawers, Acting Chief Executive, Corra Foundation;
Chris Hegarty, Senior Adviser, Christian Aid Scotland.
4. Climate Justice:
The Committee took evidence from—
Professor Tahseen Jafry, Director, Caledonian University Centre for Climate Justice;
Muthi Nhlema, Director, Baseflow Ltd;
Dr Geraldine Hill, Advocacy Manager, Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF).
