The Committee considered the following continued petitions:
PE1885: Make offering Community Shared Ownership mandatory for all windfarm development planning proposals. The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Energy and the Environment.
PE1933: Allow the Fornethy Survivors to access Scotland's Redress Scheme. The Committee agreed to write to the Deputy First Minister. The Committee agreed to consider a draft letter via correspondence and to publish the letter and delegate arrangements for publication to the Convener.
PE1966: Formally recognise and incorporate local knowledge in Scottish Government policy. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
PE1986: Provide testing kits for drugs in public spaces. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
PE2025: Improve the support available to victims of domestic violence, who have been forced to flee their home. The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Victims and Community Safety.
PE2037: Improve literacy attainment through research-informed reading instruction. The Committe agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders. In closing the petition, the Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills.
The Committee considered the following new petitions:
PE2092: Change the law and prevent children aged 5 to 17 from drinking alcohol in their home or other private premises. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
PE2093: Review and update the Scottish Ministerial Code. The Committee agreed to write to the First Minister.
PE2096: Review the council tax system. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
The Committee agreed its approach to its draft report on its Inquiry into the A9 Dualling Project.
