PE1610: Upgrade the A75 and PE1657: A77 upgrade. The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Transport.
PE1971: Take Robust Action to Stop Motorcycle Theft. The Committee agreed to close the petition under rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
PE1988: Review the process for disposal of household raw sewage. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government.
PE1993: Reform the financial support for social work students on work placements. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Social Services Council and the Minister for Higher and Further Education.
PE1999: Fully implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government.
The Committee considered the following new petitions—
PE2039: Fair pay to student nurses while on placement. The Committee agreed to write to the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Royal College of Nursing, and the National Union of Students.
PE2054: Establish an independent review into the proposed Spaceport 1 development at Scolpaig Farm in North Uist. The Committee agreed to close the petition under rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
The Committee considered the evidence it heard in Agenda Item 2 and agreed to consider the evidence heard at a future meeting.
The Committee considered its approach to the inquiry, and agreed to invite Transport Scotland, relevant former Chief Executives of Transport Scotland, and CECA Scotland to give evidence at a future meeting.
