Jim Hollington Steps Down as CEO of Dance Base

That the Parliament acknowledges the outstanding contribution of Jim Hollington as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dance Base, Edinburgh, following his decision to step down after five years of dedicated leadership; commends his unwavering commitment to the organisation, which, it understands, has seen Dance Base solidify its role as Scotland’s National Centre for Dance; recognises what it sees as his pivotal role in supporting the growth and development of the Scottish dance community, and his efforts to broaden access to the arts for diverse communities across Edinburgh and beyond, particularly during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic; celebrates his achievements in expanding Dance Base's outreach programmes, fostering innovation in the dance sector, and championing inclusivity; congratulates Jeanie Scott on her appointment as the new CEO, and wishes Jeanie every success in building on the legacy of innovation and inclusivity that Jim has helped to establish; expresses its deepest gratitude to Jim for his exceptional leadership and dedication, and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours and his continued contributions to the arts in Scotland.
