Good morning, Jim. You mentioned blended roles when you discussed your work on recruitment and retention. Will you tell us more about the various strategies that NHS 24 is using for that?

I note from your data that staff attendance is getting better over the months. In December 2022, the figure was 89.5 per cent. In May 2023, it was 92.5 per cent. What are you doing about staff wellbeing?

Do you feel that there still needs to be more education for the public with regard to when they phone you? Do we need to keep putting that message out? I know that work has been done in the past, but do we need to keep doing that to make sure they are going to the right place and getting the right help at the right time?

I know that the Scottish Government is looking at perhaps restricting alcohol advertising. How will you do that while making sure that it does not negatively affect funding for sport?

NHS Lothian’s performance standards seem to be deteriorating in a number of areas. How are you going to get on top of that?

Good morning, panel. Carol Potter, you talk about the waiting well process and how you send out letters to patients when there are long waits. Can you explain that process for us and tell us what sort of patient feedback you are getting? It seems eminently sensible to do that, but I do not think that all boards are doing it. Is it something that we could perhaps share as good practice?

We know that socioeconomic status is the biggest factor in whether people are involved in physical activity, but how can we ensure that funding is used where it is most needed and that inequalities are not further entrenched?

I assume that that is very important at the present time, minister, given that we are living through a cost of living crisis.

Good morning, Robin. Will you update the committee on the progress that is being made towards opening a high-secure service for women at the state hospital?

Do you foresee the opening of the new Cornton Vale prison having any impact on the high-secure treatment services for women?
