The Committee considered its approach to scrutiny of the legislative consent memorandum lodged by Kate Forbes, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Gaelic (LCM(S6)50) and agreed to invite the Minister for Business to give evidence.
The Committee considered correspondence from GrowBiz and agreed to write to the Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Gaelic.
The Committee considered a revised draft letter to the Scottish Government. Various changes were agreed to, and the Committee agreed to finalise the letter by correspondence.
