That the Parliament congratulates the Penicuik YMCA-YWCA and Rural Urban Training Scheme Ltd on being awarded £300,000 from the Community Ownership Fund to create a dedicated Youth Hub, serving Penicuik and the wider Midlothian area; understands that the hub will provide young people with various choices for vocational training, helping them achieve their goals irrespective of their backgrounds, alongside universal youth work to deliver a pathway of support, accredited learning and leadership, focused on progressive pathways for vulnerable young people that support their mental and physical health needs; considers that this will be an asset to the area for the years to come, and believes that the success in applying for significant funding is a testament to the excellent work of the hardworking staff and volunteers involved.
