Cervical Cancer Prevention Week

That the Parliament notes that the week commencing 22 January 2024 is Cervical Cancer Prevention Week, which is an opportunity to highlight the importance of HPV vaccines and cervical screening and how they can help prevent cervical cancer; understands that cervical cancer can be eliminated through these prevention methods; further understands that there are significant inequalities in the uptake of cervical screening and HPV vaccines; believes that cervical screening is not always easy for everyone; highlights that Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust continues to provide information and support, and encourages MSPs to support its work and campaign, and to share resources with constituents across Scotland.
