Glenvale FC Crowned Champions, a Proud Moment for Paisley

That the Parliament congratulates Glenvale FC on winning the Fourth Division of the West of Scotland Football League and securing promotion after a 5-0 victory over St Peter’s; recognises that the 2009s squad also secured promotion after beating Erskine 7-5, rounding off its season in Division 5 of the Paisley, Johnstone and District Youth Football League with seven wins; considers that the success of the team is contributing to promoting participation in sport across Paisley, and wishes Glenvale FC every success in the coming year.
