Congratulating RNIB Connect Radio on Winning Gold at the Radio Academy’s Audio and Radio Industry Awards

That the Parliament congratulates the Royal National Institute of Blind People's (RNIB) radio station, RNIB Connect Radio, on winning Gold at the Radio Academy’s Audio and Radio Industry Awards; understands that it won Gold in the category of Community Station of the Year, which had a number of impressive nominees; recognises what it sees as the amazing work that RNIB Connect Radio does in providing a mix of information, entertainment and interviews hosted by a number of blind and partially sighted presenters; notes that RNIB Connect Radio can be tuned into online 24/7 on its website and across a number of other platforms; commends the work of the wider RNIB in promoting and securing the rights of blind and partially sighted people across the UK, and particularly in Scotland; congratulates the organisation on its success in 2024, and wishes it more in the future.
