Congratulations to Beith Juniors on a Second Successive West of Scotland Premier Division Title

That the Parliament congratulates Beith Juniors FC on winning a second successive West of Scotland Premier Division title; understands that the title was sealed by a 2-0 home win against Troon at Bellsdale Park, with captain Paul Frize winning Man of the Match; acknowledges that, having spent a large part of the campaign with games in hand on most of the teams around them, Chris Strain’s men only climbed to the top of the pile a couple of weeks ago; is aware that, formed in 1938, Beith Juniors has now won four Premier titles, as well as numerous Ayrshire Cups and one Scottish Junior Cup, and wishes its president, Danny Shearer, and everyone at Beith Juniors FC all the best in their future endeavours.
