Funding Boost for 19 Community Groups from Across Auchtertool, Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly and Lumphinnans

That the Parliament acknowledges a total of 19 groups from across Auchtertool, Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly and Lumphinnans that have shared a recent tranche of funding amounting to £36,722, which contributes to a total of £738,577 raised since Little Raith windfarm became operational; understands that, whilst the windfarm may not be universally supported in the locality, the funds paid back into the community by the charity 4 Winds SCIO have been gratefully received by the groups involved; notes that the full list of recipients and monies in this recent presentation, as published on the 4 Winds website, includes £3,500 for Central Park Community Trust, £1,350 for Lumphinnans Floral Group, £1,500 for The Clearing, £358.74 for Lochgelly Albert Colts 2016s, £3,914 for Lumphinnans Community Council, £1,500 for Tartan Talkers, £500 for My Cowdenbeath, £900 for Kingdom of Fife Orienteers, £3,000 for Cowdenbeath Events Crew, £1,750 for Lochgelly United, £500 for Radio Cowdenbeath, £1,500 for Cowdenbeath Jujutsu, £1,200 for Foulford Primary Parent Partnership, £1,500 for LADAMA, £1,750 for Cowdenbeath Baptist Church, £1,500 for the Rotary Club of Cowdenbeath, £1,000 for Cowdenbeath League of Boardgamers, £2,500 for Cowdenbeath Civic Week, and £7,000 for Lumphinnans Community Bowling Club; congratulates all the recipients; recognises 4 Winds SCIO’s contribution, and commends the individual groups’ work for the benefit of the wider community.
