That the Parliament congratulates television personality chefs, the Hairy Bikers, Dave Myers and Si King, on the launch of their new BBC series, The Hairy Bikers Go West; understands that the show follows Dave and Si as they travel the west coast of the UK, experiencing the culinary delights on offer; welcomes that the second segment of episode two showcases their Dumfries and Galloway experience, where they sampled the lobster at Port William, savoured Scottish pasta from Galloway Pasta in New Galloway, where Si described its bucatini as "beautifully done", then on to Potterland Smokery near Palnackie for smoked lamb, to the Camphill Community at Loch Arthur, The Little Bakery in Dumfries, and, finally, to the world-famous Globe Inn, established in 1610 in Dumfries, and the well-described favourite inn of Robert Burns; welcomes the attention from the BBC to showcase Dumfries and Galloway, and wishes all of the food producers that Dave and Si are visiting every success in the future, as well as every success for the show.
