Election of Aberdeen South and North Kincardine MSYPs

That the Parliament congratulates Olusegun Hammed-Alli and Oluwapelumi Otitoju on being elected as Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYPs) for the Aberdeen South and North Kincardine constituency; understands that elections for the 2023 Membership began on 1 February 2024, providing young people with the opportunity to give a voice to constituencies and organisations across Scotland; recognises what it sees as the important role of the Scottish Youth Parliament, established in 1999, in getting young people involved in the democratic process; commends Olusegun, Oluwapelumi, and the wider contingent of new MSYPs, and passes on its best wishes for every success in upcoming endeavours with their communities and with the Scottish Youth Parliament.
