That the Parliament recognises the highest quality of Scottish produce on show at the National Farmers Union Scotland (NFUS) annual dinner on 8 February 2024; understands that this dinner attracts over 400 attendees, conveying what it considers to be the world-leading food and drink that Scotland produces; further understands that over £4,500 was raised by diners for Scottish rural charities, and notes that farming and crofting stakeholders across Scotland were commended for their excellence within the sector, as well as for being the lynchpin of rural communities and Scotland's rural economy, during an awards ceremony that showcased Scotland’s agricultural talent and what it sees as its significant contribution to the nation’s economic growth.
